スマートウォッチのFITBITを紛失
つい先日、大切に使っていたスマートウォッチのFITBITを紛失してしまったんです。これは最近、watch本体とベルトを繋ぐ接続部分がなんだか外れやすくなっていたからなんですよね。紛失に気づいた時は、ブルートゥースの電波を使った探し物アプリで家中を探したんですが、結局見つからなかったんです。
このFITBITはなんと私が23000円も出して購入したもので、1年半ほど大事に使ってきました。その特徴の一つに、Suicaが使えるという点がありました。でも、使ってみると反応がイマイチで、結局FITBIT内のSuicaをあまり使うことはありませんでした。それに、運動の動画を見るためのサブスクリプションに年間6000円以上もかかるというのも、ちょっと手間だったなと思います。

When I noticed the loss, I used a lost item app that uses Bluetooth signals to search around the house, but in the end, I couldn't find it.
I had purchased this FITBIT for a whopping 23000 yen and had been using it carefully for about a year and a half. One of its features was that it had Suica available. However, when I tried to use it, the response was not very good, and as a result, I rarely used Suica in the FITBIT. Also, the fact that it costs over 6000 yen a year for a subscription to watch workout videos was a bit of a hassle.

今回、私が新たに手に入れたのは、「NigorNile」というメーカーのスマートウォッチです。このスマートウォッチの価格は、3980円という非常にリーズナブルな価格設定になっています。これは、私が以前に使用していた「FITBIT」と比較すると、大幅にコストパフォーマンスが高いと言えます。
ただし、残念ながらこのスマートウォッチは、Suicaを利用することができません。しかし、それを除けば、FITBITで一度でも使用したことのある機能は、ほぼ全てこのスマートウォッチにも搭載されています。
また、運動の記録をSNSに投稿するという行為も、非常に簡単に行うことができます。NigorNileのアプリ画面をスクリーンショットし、それを投稿するだけで良いのです。FITBITで少々使いづらかったコミュニティ機能も省かれているため、全体的に非常にシンプルで使い勝手の良いデザインになっています。

さて、私はiphoneのユーザーであるにも関わらず、なぜAppleWatchを選ばなかったのかという疑問があるかもしれません。その理由は非常にシンプルで、AppleWatchが物理的に重いからなんです。また、その大きな画面サイズも私にとっては少々大きすぎると感じました。これらの要素が、私の選択をAppleWatchの代わりに、他のスマートウォッチの選択肢へと導いたのです。
